Top Ten Quarterfinalists who did not reach the Semifinals are eligible to apply for open slots at the CineStory Retreat, should they become available.
The CineStory Writers' Retreat
This 3-day retreat offers an unsurpassed opportunity to work in a personalized, intimate fashion with our sponsors and other industry professionals. As a "safe haven" the Retreat gives a select group of emerging writers of value a place to gather comfortably with active industry mentors to direct and adjust their creative and professional compasses, and to elevate their work to a new and hopefully fruitful level. The CineStory Mentorship Program
Beginning with the CineStory Retreat, winners will work with two of the judges/sponsors in an individually-designed program that consists of initial feedback at the retreat and a minimum of four consultative phone calls over the next year, with one set of written notes sent to each writer. Professional advice from the mentors may include: revising the winning script; developing other screenplay ideas and scripts; and career navigation.
